Removing a team member

If someone leaves your organisation or no longer needs access to Prospo, an Org Admin can remove them. Removing a user permanently deletes their account from your organisation.

Only Org Admins can remove team members.


Steps

1. Go to Organisation Settings

Navigate to Settings in the left navigation, then select the Users tab.

2. Find the team member

Locate the person you want to remove in the users list.

3. Click the delete icon

Click the delete icon at the end of their row.

4. Confirm the deletion

A confirmation dialog will appear asking:

"Do you really want to delete [Name]?"

Click Delete to confirm, or Cancel to go back.

The user's account is removed immediately.


What happens when you remove a user

  • Access is revoked immediately — the removed user cannot log in to Prospo.
  • Their account is permanently deleted — this cannot be undone. The user record is removed from your organisation entirely.
  • Work and data is retained — meetings, documents, and other content created by that user remain in your organisation's account.
  • Billing is adjusted automatically — if the user had an active paid seat, Prospo applies a pro-rated credit to your account for the remainder of the billing period.

This action is permanent. There is no way to restore a deleted user account. If the person rejoins your organisation in the future, they will need to be invited again as a new user.


Removing a pending invitation

If you've invited someone but they haven't accepted yet, you can remove them the same way — find them in the Users list (they'll show a status of Invited) and click the delete icon. Their invite link will be invalidated immediately.


Troubleshooting

Can't see the delete icon — Only Org Admins can remove users. If you don't see this option, you may have the User role. Contact your organisation's admin.

Accidentally deleted the wrong person — Deletions cannot be reversed. Re-invite the person from the Users tab and they'll be sent a new activation email.
