Importing contacts from Microsoft Outlook

Import your personal Outlook contacts directly into Prospo when your Microsoft 365 account is connected.


Before you begin: Your Microsoft 365 account must be connected to Prospo. See Connecting your Microsoft 365 account.



Importing contacts

  1. Go to Contacts → Import Contacts
  2. Select Microsoft Account
  3. Your Outlook contacts load automatically — use the search field to filter by name or email
  4. Select the contacts you want to import using the checkboxes, or tick the header checkbox to select all
  5. Click Next: Map Clients to optionally link each contact to a client
  6. Click Import

Only your personal Outlook contacts are imported — the Global Address List (your organisation's directory) is not included.


Troubleshooting

"Microsoft 365 is not configured for your organisation" — Contact your Org Admin to set up the Microsoft 365 connector.

"Outlook contact import has been disabled by your admin" — Contact your Org Admin to enable it.

"Please reconnect your Microsoft Outlook account" — Your connection has expired. Click Reconnect and sign in again.
