Connecting Monday.com
Import your client contacts from a Monday.com board into Prospo. The connection is configured once by an Org Admin — after that, all users in your organisation can import from the same board.
Before you begin
You'll need two values from your Monday.com account:
- Board ID — the ID of the Monday.com board containing your client contacts
- API Token — your Monday.com API token (found in Monday.com under your profile → Developers → API)
The board you connect should have columns for at least Name and Email. Prospo also picks up Phone and Date of Birth columns if they exist — see Importing contacts from Monday.com for how columns are detected.
Steps
- Log in as an Org Admin and go to Admin → Connectors
- Find Monday.com under the CRM category and click Set up
- Enter your:
- Monday Board ID
- Monday API Token
- Click Authorise
Once saved, the Monday.com card updates to show a green Connected badge. All users in your organisation can now import contacts from the configured board.
Your API Token is encrypted before being stored. Prospo never stores it in plain text.
Managing the connection
To update your Board ID or API Token:
- Go to Admin → Connectors → Monday.com → Manage
- Update the relevant fields
- Click Update
To temporarily disable the integration without removing your credentials, use the toggle switch on the Monday.com card. You can re-enable it at any time without re-entering your credentials.
Troubleshooting
"Monday.com connector details not found or invalid" — Your Board ID or API Token may be incorrect. Double-check both values and try again.
"Verify your board ID is correctly configured" — Confirm the Board ID by opening your board in Monday.com and checking the URL. The ID is the number in the URL after /boards/.
No contacts appear when importing — Ensure your board has items and that columns containing contact email addresses have "email" in their column ID. See Importing contacts from Monday.com for details on how Prospo detects columns.
