Connecting WorkSorted

Import your WorkSorted clients and contacts directly into Prospo via OAuth. Setup works in two stages: an Org Admin configures organisation-level credentials, then each user authorises their own WorkSorted account.


Stage 1 — Org Admin: Configure WorkSorted credentials

This step is done once by an Org Admin. It gives Prospo the credentials needed to initiate the OAuth connection for your organisation's users.

  1. Log in as an Org Admin and go to Admin → Connectors
  2. Find WorkSorted under the CRM category and click Set up
  3. Enter your organisation's WorkSorted:
    • Client ID
    • Client Secret
  4. Click Authorise

Once saved, users in your organisation can connect their own WorkSorted accounts.

Your Client ID and Client Secret are available from your WorkSorted account settings. Contact your WorkSorted administrator if you're unsure where to find them.


Stage 2 — Each user: Connect your WorkSorted account

After the Org Admin has configured the credentials, each user connects their own WorkSorted account when they first import contacts.

  1. Go to Contacts → Import Contacts
  2. Select WorkSorted from the source list
  3. Click Connect to WorkSorted
  4. You'll be redirected to WorkSorted to sign in and authorise Prospo
  5. After approving, you'll be returned to the import dialog with your contacts loaded

Your connection is maintained automatically — Prospo refreshes your access token in the background so you won't need to reconnect unless something changes.


If your connection expires

If your WorkSorted connection lapses, you'll see a prompt to reconnect when you next try to import. Click Connect to WorkSorted and complete the authorisation again.


Disabling the WorkSorted connector (Org Admins)

To disable WorkSorted for your organisation without removing the credentials:

  1. Go to Admin → Connectors
  2. Use the toggle on the WorkSorted card to disable it

Users will no longer be able to import from WorkSorted until the connector is re-enabled. Re-enabling restores access without requiring credentials to be re-entered.


Troubleshooting

"WorkSorted Connector Disabled" — Your Org Admin has disabled or not yet set up the WorkSorted connector. Ask them to configure it in Admin → Connectors.

Redirected to an error after authorising — Your session may have expired during the OAuth flow. Return to the import dialog and try connecting again.

"Could not refresh Worksorted token. Please reconnect." — Your authorisation has expired. Click Connect to WorkSorted to re-authorise.
