Completing a standard Fact-Find

The standard Fact-Find is a secure form you send to a client to complete themselves. Prospo generates a one-time passcode (OTP) and emails it to the authorised recipients you specify. The client uses that code to access the form and fill in their details directly.


Steps

1. Create access for the client

Open the client's record and navigate to the Fact-Find section. Click Create Access to generate a secure access record for this client's Fact-Find.

2. Set authorised recipients

Add the email addresses of the people who should be able to access and complete the form — typically the client and any co-applicant. Only the addresses you add here will be able to receive a valid OTP.

3. Send the OTP

Click Send OTP. Prospo emails a one-time passcode to each authorised recipient. The code is time-limited — if it expires before the client uses it, you can send a new one.

4. Client verifies and completes the form

The client opens the link in the email, enters their OTP to verify their identity, and fills in the Fact-Find form. Once submitted, the data is saved to their client record in Prospo.


Notes

  • Only email addresses added as authorised recipients can receive a valid OTP
  • If the client's OTP expires, return to the Fact-Find section and send a new one
  • Completed responses are visible in the client's record once the client submits
