Editing contact details

You can update a contact's name, email, phone, and any profile or KYC details at any time.


Steps

From the Contacts page:

  1. Go to Contacts in the sidebar
  2. Find the contact in the list and click their name to open their details in the right panel
  3. Click the Edit icon in the panel header
  4. Make your changes
  5. Click Update Contact

From the Clients page or client profile:

  1. Open the client the contact is linked to
  2. In the Linked Contacts panel, click the Edit icon next to the contact
  3. Make your changes
  4. Click Update Contact

Editable fields

All fields set during creation can be updated:

  • First name, last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Title, job title
  • Date of birth, employment status, annual income, target retirement age, ID document type

Changing a contact's relationship to a client

The relationship type (e.g. Director, Spouse, Trustee) is tied to a specific client link, not to the contact itself. To update it:

  1. Open the client profile
  2. In the Linked Contacts panel, click the Edit icon next to the contact
  3. Change the relationship type and save
