Connecting your Xero account

Connect your Xero account to Prospo to access accounting and billing features directly from the platform. The connection is set up at the organisation level by an Org Admin.


Before you begin

You'll need an active Xero account with administrator access to complete the OAuth authorisation.


Steps

  1. Log in as an Org Admin and go to Admin → Connectors

  2. Find the Xero card and click Connect

  3. You'll be redirected to Xero — sign in with your Xero administrator account and authorise Prospo

  4. You'll be returned to Prospo once authorised

Once connected, the Xero card shows a green Connected badge. The integration is shared across your organisation — all users can access Xero-linked features without individual setup.


Disconnecting

To remove the Xero connection:

  1. Go to Admin → Connectors

  2. Find the Xero card and click Disconnect

  3. Confirm the action

Disconnecting removes the stored OAuth tokens. Any data already synced between Xero and Prospo is not affected.


Troubleshooting

"Xero authorisation failed" — Ensure you are signing in with a Xero account that has administrator permissions. If the error persists, try clearing your browser cookies and reconnecting.
